With 73% reporting and a 35% lead, Fox News has reported Barack Obama as the projected winner in Iowa, but obviously wont give a margin. This really isn’t that much of a shock, but its going to change the mentality of a lot of Dems I think.

Of course not. But if he doesn’t place second in New Hampshire, its really going to be a tight race for him coming into Super Tuesday.
Again, what we really need to watch is Fred Thompson and John McCain. If Thompson slips below McCain, its very feasible that he could drop out and throw his support behind Senator McCain. With Thompson’s support, along with the unusual endorsement of Independent Joe Lieberman, McCain could come out of New Hampshire as the victor.
If McCain gets Thompson’s endorsement, this will also help him make some more serious inroads in South Carolina, giving him a major competitive edge.

With only 15% reporting, Fox News has called the primary already, and deemed him the winner.
Unfortunately, from what I’ve noticed in the past, Fox News is usually accurate when they call these races. But, they can always be wrong, so I’m hopeful to see the results pile in.
What’s going to be real interesting to watch is McCain, if he comes in third, its going to be interesting.
