RNC Mother’s Day Message
WASHINGTON – Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Reince Priebus released the following Mother’s Day message:
“I want to wish a Happy Mother’s Day to moms everywhere—and especially to my mom and to my wife,” said Chairman Priebus.
“Today is a chance for all of us to show gratitude for the sacrifices our mothers made for us and to honor all moms. We’re especially mindful of the moms serving overseas this Mother’s Day.
“We should also think about what we can do as a country to improve the lives of mothers. We ought to support the great strides mothers have made in the economy by modernizing our laws to include greater flexibility in the
work place, investing in job training and skill development, updating our tax and retirement laws so women and their families can keep more of what they earn, and promoting child care tax credits for low and middle income families.
“For the unconditional love, selflessness, and support of our mothers, we say thank you.”
“Being a mother and a grandmother is the greatest joy of my life,” said Co-Chairman Day. “And as I raised my children, I always thought of the example my mother set for me. So to all the moms out there, I say Happy Mother’s Day. I hope you are surrounded by your family. Enjoy your day!”
