Don’t worry, they aren’t in any trouble, but instead are just looking for your help in naming the official blog of the 2008 Republican National Convention. While I’m sure that they could easily come up with a name with a nice ring to it on their own, this is just another effort that has been seen in a variety of campaigns as an easy way to increase the level of interactions amongst its readers.
It’s an extremely effective tactic. With a strategy like this in place, if someone stumbles upon that post or video and makes a submission, they are much more likely to check back regularly until the results are posted. If they display the options as they come in and associate them with a username, I have a feeling that the loyalty will increase even more.
Anyway, they released the following YouTube video asking for your help!:

Any suggestions?
