There were hundreds of these guys

These guys were just waiting for something to happen.

I’m pretty sure the guy on the right set a record for saying “fuck you” to the most people individually. He went up to every counter-protester to share his wisdom. The guy on the left was actually more interesting, aside from the fact that his gas mask didn’t actually fit him.

One of the many “post mace” shots. The problem with this shot was that I was watching this guy the whole time, and he really didn’t do anything to provoke the officers. Maybe they were going for the guy behind him.

You would assume that one would get hot wearing black hoodies, goggles, and masks in 90 degree heat.

Students for a Democratic Society in action.

I thought the “funk the war” concept was creative, however I’m not really sure where the wannabe Abercrombie & Fitch model comes into play.

I never understood the point of carrying a sign that you couldn’t read.

Nothing says anti-capitalism like an army of protesters with i-pods. Oh by the way, Apple’s stock was down 3.95% today.

For the most part, the people at this protest were peaceful. However, these guys were definitely itching to have a little more fun than the rest of the crowd.

This one speaks for itself

I was quite impressed by how organized some of these protesters were. They had these people with the red tape who responded almost instantly when someone got maced. I noticed that others had cameras recording everything, and two-way radios to communicate throughout the march. Pretty damn impressive.

I passed this guy a few times, the glares never got friendlier.

This guy was actually pretty funny. Nobody could hear him through the shirt on his head, so he would have to uncover his mouth and nose each time he was trying to convey a point.

Is it just me, or does the guy with the flag bandanna look like he came off an episode of South Park?

These guys were everywhere.

9/11 was an inside job? The signs are definitely crazy, but the people holding them are definitely psychotic (at least the ones I talked to).

Sorry guys, I guess I shouldn’t have waited a few days to post this one.

I guess he’s the guy making the decisions now.

Police waiting to break up protest

Police definitely not messing around

They wanted to leave you wishing you used the bathroom at home.

Not entirely sure what BCA stands for, but I’m pretty sure it’s not what one person chanted “Blackwater Convention Agents”

Getting ready to break up rally. I was warned by the National Lawyers Guild that at 5pm, there was a good chance I’ll get maced. It didn’t happen, but it was interesting to see how the majority of the people didn’t seem to care.

And who said George W. couldn’t make it.
