If that calculator is correct, and taking my other (very basic) expenses into account, I’d have to work almost 65 hours a week just to cover those expenses.
It’s sad really, gas prices go up just as road construction and tourism goes up as well. Due to construction, my 20 minute commute is now over an hour, sometimes more. WTF is up with that.
Even though suspending the 18 cents isn’t a lot of money, it adds up.

Just got gas for 4.12 - man i miss those days when i was 16 and paying less than a buck. Think we will ever see those prices again? or at least the 2 dollar mark?
Interesting how McCain said today that he thinks off shore drilling should be up to the states. I bet that one small statement pulled in some big support.
I’ll vote for whatever candidate changes their campaign slogan to “Domestic Drilling don’t bother me”
