Reckless Raimondo’s ridiculous excuses
With her administration back in the headlines, Reckless Governor Gina Raimondo’s latest strategy is to shift the blame of her ‘leadership’ failures.
When asked about her failures with the state’s IT system UHIP and the recent nursing home scandal that almost cost Rhode Islanders millions, Raimondo’s Communications Director tried to minimize the blame:
“”Governor Raimondo inherited health and human services agencies that had struggled for decades. She’s hired strong managers with varied experience, and we’ve seen progress … We’ve made progress, and Governor Raimondo is ready to work with anyone to help tackle the challenges that remain.”
Her inability to take responsibility is laughable and would explain why leaders like U.S. Rep. John Lewis have rethought their support of Gina’s reelection bid.
