ICYMI: Add these #crumbs to the list

It’s no surprise that today rounds out another week of great news stemming from GOP-led tax reform. In addition to cutting electric bills, the Nevada Public Utilities Commission announced on Tuesday that it is also focused on approving new, lower utility rates for other public utilities, including natural gas and telecommunications services, just to name a few.

On Wednesday, OneMain Financial - which has seven branches across Nevada - announced that it will increase its base salary for all hourly associates and will also give out cash bonuses.

Despite every single Nevada Democrat voting against the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, tax reform is already working wonders in the Silver State and Nevadans know it. In fact, the announcement from OneMain came exactly one week after the Nevada Republican Party delivered two overflowing baskets of crumb cakes and signed cards to Rep. Jacky Rosen’s office on behalf of Nevadans across the state who, unlike Rosen and her elitist pal Nancy Pelosi, hardly view lower bills, cash bonuses and pay raises as “crumbs.”

It has become abundantly clear that Rosen is clinging tight to the party lines drawn by Pelosi and will never be on board with these tax cuts, no matter how much they help Nevadan families. What’s even more alarming for Rosen’s constituents in NV3 is that Susie Lee (D), Rosen’s multi-millionaire wannabe successor, would probably take the exact same position.

“It’s sad that so many Democrats remain staunchly opposed to tax reform despite weekly, if not daily, proof that it’s working. If Rosen and Lee are so tangled up in petty politics that they refuse to support Republican policies that clearly support Nevadans, they do not deserve to represent Nevadans at any level.” -Spokesperson Keelie Broom
