My vote for Obama was an easy one considering the competition, but I’m not wearing rose-colored glasses, My hope is that Obama will be what everyone needs, and that he doesnt have some secret agenda. I don’t think he does but you never know. Certainly he can’t be as bad for the country as the Bushs’ were. It is important to remember, that the US relationship with Israel IS a very vital one. The US MUST continue to support Israel.

You will see a few more right-appeasement/cross-the-aisle decisions before Obama sets his targets on his agenda.
I myself don’t see this appointment of Emanuel as a good one. If Obama really wants some change he’ll have to clear up the mess in Israel and that is by now perfectly obvious that will never be attained by involving radical pro-Israel people.
