		<description>I find it interesting that you say, &quot;Coleman did better against his second famous opponent, edging former Vice President Walter Mondale to win his seat in the U.S. Senate.&quot; yet you did NOT say that Coleman&#039;s REAL opponent was incumbent Paul Wellstone, who was tragically killed in a plane crash only 11 days before the election. Mondale was only a last-minute replacement.

Before the accident, Coleman was trailing Wellstone by a HUGE margin. There was no way he would have ever defeated Wellstone had he survived. Even if Wellstone had been left brain-dead he would have won and done a better job than Coleman.</description>

		<description>I think this is going to be a big-hit race for the union&#039;s. If I recall, the union bosses hated him when he was Mayor, and I wouldn&#039;t be shocked if they (national unions) joined forces to take him down. 

I just wish Coleman was a little better on earmark reform.</description>
